At Global Containers Line, LLC, we prioritize transparency. Because our shipping containers are heavy industrial equipment, our return and refund process is structured to ensure logistical safety and clear expectations for all parties.

1. Return Window

We accept return requests for both defective and non-defective products within 30 days of the delivery date. Requests made after this 30-day period will not be eligible for a refund.

2. Condition of Returns

To be eligible for a return, the container must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: Only New or “As-Delivered” units are accepted. The unit must be in the same structural condition as when it was dropped off.

  • Modifications: The unit must be empty and free of any modifications (e.g., paint, shelving, or structural alterations).

  • Access: The unit must be placed on a firm, level surface accessible by a standard freight truck for pickup.

3. Return Process

  1. Initiate Request: Contact us at sales@globalcontainerslineltd.com or +1 (656) 250-7440 with your Order ID.

  2. Verification: Provide clear photos of the unit’s condition.

  3. Authorization: Once approved, we will provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and schedule a freight pickup with our carrier.

4. Return Fees & Shipping Costs

  • Return Method: Returns are handled via Freight Pickup (By Mail).

  • Shipping Responsibility: For non-defective returns (e.g., “change of mind”), the customer is responsible for the actual cost of return shipping.

  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover depot handling, re-inspection, and administrative costs.

  • Defective Units: If a unit is found to be structurally unsound (non-wind and water tight) upon delivery and the driver is notified immediately, we will replace the unit or provide a full refund at no cost to the customer.

5. Refund Timeline & Processing Information

  • Inspection Period: Once the unit is returned to our depot, it will be inspected within 2 business days.

  • Banking Lead Times: Once approved, we initiate the refund immediately. Most financial institutions require 5–7 business days to reflect the credit on your statement.

  • Total Processing Window: To account for depot logistics, inspection, and banking cycles, please allow for a total refund processing window of up to 10 days from the date the unit is successfully returned to our facility.
